HISTORIC DOWNTOWN
Fallbrook's charming downtown district has many historic buildings dating back to the 1800s. It is a true gem - worth the drive for a morning, or afternoon, of great shopping and a special meal. We're off the beaten path, but you will be happy you decided to Find Fallbrook.

At Home on Main Street is across from Jackson Square, a picturesque courtyard in the heart of the village. With quaint shops and restaurants, it is a not-to-miss location when visiting downtown. Read more about my personal history with Jackson Square and some of the shops you will find there today.

The Art Center at Fallbrook is the anchor of the art scene in downtown and features monthly shows - along with the other downtown art galleries, the Art Campus at Fallbrook (an arts education venue), and the variety of Art in Public Places, there are many good reasons to visit if you are an art enthusiast. John Villani is including Fallbrook in the 5th edition of his book, "The 100 Best Art Towns in America."

The Village Square, on the busiest corner in downtown (Main & Alvarado), is a great place to visit on Friday's and Sunday's for the Farmers Market. The square is also where the Historic Downtown Merchants Association members kickoff the holiday season with Joyful Traditions. Join us for the festivities beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Once a movie theater built in the 1940s to show the latest flicks, the Mission Theatre is now home to live theatre, with productions featuring C.A.S.T. Academy members running throughout the year.
